I have a dual booting system with XP on the C: and 2000 on the D:
Google Talk is installed on both systems. The version on 2000 crashes every time i click to send a instant message. The error i get back is
"Google talk encountered an internal error, and must now close". I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling it on 2000 and likewise on XP. Any ideas whats causing this?

    Rollo,
do you have the latest service pack on the Windows 2000 install?

Have you downloaded the Latest version of Google Talk?

Try switching themes and see what happens.

    regards

that did the trick. Updated my version of IE from 5.0 to 6 and now GTalk works. I imagine that GTalk requires components from IE6 as the regeditor automatically launched itself when i rebooted the pc after the upgrade.

    Nice one Zoned
