    Fun and Games @ Q-Con XIII – 16th to 18th June 2006

    Q-Con is the annual Gaming Convention hosted by Dragonslayers, the Queen’s University Belfast (QUB) Gaming and Anime Society. This year sees Q-Con enter its thirteenth year and it will be held in the newly-refurbished QUB Students’ Union from the 16th to 18th June 2006. Doors open at 5.00pm on Friday 16th June.

    Competitions, tournaments and games at Q-Con XIII will include:
    - DCI Sanctioned Magic: The Gathering
    - UDE Sanctioned Yu-Gi-Oh and Vs.
    - Wizards of the Coast Northern Ireland Gamers Championship
    - Dungeons & Dragons
    - RPGA Living Greyhawk
    - Warhammer 40k and Fantasy Battle
    - RINIWA Cuchulainn Trophy


    Our Console Arena will feature:
    - Halo & Halo II
    - Pro Evolution Soccer
    - Burnout Revenge
    - Soul Calibur III
    - Tekken 5
    - Singstar
    - Super Smash Bros.
    - Mario Kart Double Dash

    Events to look out for at Q-Con include the Official Wizards of the Coast Northern Ireland Gamers Championship in which gamers can compete in a series of games across the weekend in an effort to be crowned Champion. Championship Games include Star Wars Minis, Dungeons & Dragons Minis and Magic: The Gathering. We also have Qnightmare - our re-creation of the cult classic TV show Knightmare, which will give you the chance to guide your friends through our interactive computer generated dungeon.

    For anime fans we will be showing many popular titles including series unreleased in the UK and Ireland in our Anime Screen, as well as theatrical Anime screenings in the Queen’s Film Theatre.

    Q-Con also has a wide selection of other games and events over the convention weekend, with more Role-playing Games, Board Games, LARPs, War Games, Collectible Card Games, Console Games, Special Guests, Anime Screenings, Special Events and much more!

    For those who pre-register a full weekend ticket for Q-Con will cost just £10/€15 or £5/€7.50 per day. Accommodation is available for just £12/€18 per night.

    SPECIAL OFFER: Pre-register for the full weekend before 30th April and you will receive a free convention t-shirt, also all attendees who pre-register will be entered into a draw with the chance to win an X-Box 360! Please note that the final close date for pre-registration and accommodation booking is 1st June 2006.
