biking in america

    hey. im going to the us (georgia) for the summer and im wonderin if anyone knows if i can ride a bike there on a full 125cc irish licence. or would it be easy to take a test when i get over there? can't find anything on the net about it...

    depends on your age as well, afaik you have to be over 21

    you might be able to rent a moped with it, or they might (as usual americans do) not even look at the inside of it (though u would be lying to them & probably in breach of contract if u rent a big bike)

    You'd need two proofs of identity, a proof of residency, and a Social Security Number to do the test. If you *had* those, it'd be easy to do it, though. :)

    Probably best mate - If it's anything like Canada (and I think it is) full license can take 22 months.
