Luas Park and Ride to M50

In the interests of keeping my car out of the city this afternoon, I left my car in the Park and Ride at the Red Cow roundabout and took the Luas to the city. Upon returning I wanted to get back to the M50 to head south (to go home to Kimmage) but could not get onto right side of the Naas Road to do so. Am I missing a turn off somewhere?

I ended up going to Kilnamanagh and through the Walkinstown roundabout instead.

Another idea: Left at Newlands Cross onto Belgard Road.
Left onto Unnamed road (!?) and right onto M50 South (Ballymount onramp).

This takes the Red Cow roundabout out of the equation.
