    ok.

i joined bebo because some of my friends were using it and i couldn't convince them to use orkut :)

browsing around it i noticed there were a lot of people that i knew from college and school on it, which is cool.

what really annoys me however is that sh1te flashbox thing that people have with the enevitable annoying music killing the tunes i am already listesing to.

    so,

does anyone know of a way to block the sound from these flash boxes without dissabling the sound in firefox or the whole system sound. i listen to pandora.com so i need firefox to be able to play tunes

also, on my bebo page how do i remove the flashbos and blog sections as i won't use them.

    cheers

    yours ashamedly :)

Use an extension for Firefox called AdBlock - search for previous discussion.

I don't think you can remove either the flash and blog sections, it might depend on the skin you're using though. And as far as I know there's no way to block the flashboxes.

i have seen pages without them so i think its possibly.

may be skin related alright though.

    i will lookinto AdBlock

    cheers

The blog section and the flash section wont be seen by people viewing your page until you ad something to them only you can see it

    adblock is the best.

also you've no idea how much bandwidth some are using, my sister uses bebo an awful lot and we suddenly were hitting a few hundred meg a day, down to flashes i think. the new big ones are mad
