    What kind of proxy?

I will assume http - in which case your options are severly limited, and to be honest I wouldn't bother my hole if I were you.

Not a good idea using P2P software at work.
It is most likely against the terms of your employment contract or some IT policy....
Ports are probably all blocked as well.
You would be opening a can of worms trying to circumvent it...

azureus may support it, but you're facing a sacking if you get caught tbh.

As the others have said, the IT guys at work will probably have put certain mesures in place to:

    a) Block P2P traffic
    b) record activities of those that thy to get past these blocks.

But google HTTP Tunnel if you really want to try to use P2P at work.

I use a procy with Limewire/Bitcomet/uTorrent no problem what so ever!

For the P2P get your hands on a socket 4a proxy.

Good for you Zuma.....You're not in I.T by any chance?
You may not have any problem using them but they are probably against the terms of your contract....
