Pipe's horses seem to run in period patches (what an interesting expression) and they seem to be running well at the moment. Korelo would be interesting for me.

I'm another one with All In the Stars, has been absolutely crying out for this sort of trip all season.

I think Another Rum is a good each way bet for this race.He goes well up in Ayr is down 2lb this year from what I read and he has been kept fresh since cheltenham. That was a poor run but hopefully he will come right now.

i will be backing three in this e/w.

Im hoping for a big run from Mon Mome, has been in cracking form lately and is only carrying 10st 2lbs. He hasn't been out of the first two in his last 7 runs. Has shaped as though the trip will be within his range and I expect him to be involved at the business end of things.

Philson Run is an out and out stayer who has two wins over the distance. Was pulled up lto behind GVA Ireland but had previously run a blinder at Newcastle in Feb. Likes testing ground and if any rain comes all the better for this one. Could run a big race if boucing back from last run at long odds.

Halcon Genelardais is another up and coming horse like Mon Mome. He is higher in the weights but has been very progressive this season. He's another that should appreciate the ground and is a natural jumper. I think this A King youngster will run a good race.

Im on allinthestars myself. It was hard to pick between him, mon mome and idle talk. Perhaps the three might be a nice forecast.................................

I'm with you on this E/W. Like you say, up and coming, good enough recent form too. I'll be surprised if he is not thereabouts

A very difficult race this one I think. It may be worth following a good jockey on an outsider.

Im going against the stats here and will give an Each Way stab in the dark on King Killone at 50/1 with Ladbrokes, just for interest. :)

    I'm going for 3...
    All EW
    Halcon Generlardies 5th
    Ladalko 2nd
King Killone finished, not sure what position yet

    Good luck all.

    A small profit...
Funny thing was, was torn between King Killone and Run for Paddy for my outsider bet!

I really cant see past Darkness, a bargain at 14/1 with McCoy on board....PP paying down to 5th as well, it would be rude not to?

I'm also siding with Halcon Genelardais. Didn't run at Cheltenham or Aintree, only a 6yo novice and looks to already need this sort of trip.

I've also had a little on Lord Atterbury at 140/1. I know he's 3lbs out of the handicap and Timmy Murphy is riding another of Johnson's but he could be fresh and ready for this after only two hurdle runs this season. You never know with some of Pipe's horses.

Would you believe me if I told you I had the winner? Only reason I backed it was because Carl was the trainer and the jockey. Never took a price, I also backed All in the Stars and Idle Talk.

I see we have another valuable contributor to the Horse Racing forum.

Sizzler you're fairly new to boards so we'll cut you some slack but I probably speak for everyone when I say that this is a forum for horse racing enthusiasts, not mug punters. By calling Tony McCoy (no less) a prick for pulling up a horse who probably didnt have much of a hope anyway you're showing yourself up as just that. If this was the soccer forum you'd be banned for abuse.

    Just a heads up mate.
