Even before the invention of digital sequencers and gadgets, Allan was able to replicate an amazing clarinet type guitar tone. Anybody have any tips on creating this tone? At the moment I just put down the treble and middle a bit and put the bass up but it still is lacking. Any advise?

Slightly cranked valve amp, neck p90/single coil, tone rolled off about half way. Thats what it sounds like to me.
