I enjoy black snakebites... or failing that if the place has never heard of them, a Budweiser. Fibbers make the best Snakebites by far.

I had 2 pints of "an brían blasta" in The Porter House along with a few good oyster stouts and I was smashed. It's about 10% if I can remember. I was definitly talking to god through the porcelain telephone that night. I don't drink in The Porter House much due to money but I usually stick to Guinness when I'm out for the night but when I'm at home I get some great speciality ales. They are expensive but bloody sexy. Bishops Finger and Holy Ale are beautiful things...

Jesus god no, Larger Cider and Blackcurrent.

    Awh it's so good....

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,784 ✭✭✭Dirk Gently

bulmers in any shape or form. and it has to be bulmers, not any other pretender cider. pint bottle with ice / draught / bulmers and black / bulmers and skittles for a fruity taste sensation.....the possibilities are endless.

and for the record the reason why fibbers make good snakebites and black is because a pint of anything out of there is so disgusting that large amounts of blackcurrent must be added to make it drinkable. also has a fly problem. still cant help going back to the place though.
after the bulmers fest its onto jack and coke and then when totally locked just the straight jack which you cant even taste at that stage cos your taste buds have been killed by all the bulmers.

Seriously, do you people just spend your time reading all new posts in order to correct the spelling? I'm actually jealous that you have a purpose in life to be honest. I preformed a spell check on my mini rant in an attempt to try and make you feel redundant.

Ah yes! A nice cool White Russian.

    Always goes down smooth.

Of course there's always a Green Goblin. A delightful little number crafted in a fine alchemical process by my very own hands. It's name refers not only to it's final colour but also, as those of you familiar with the Spiderman comics will see, the effects it causes. Notably insanity and an urge to wear a purple loin cloth.

To make approximatly 2 litres of Green Goblin you will need one empty 2 litre bottle (7up adds to the mystique as does a clear bottle), one large bottle of bourbon (Southern Comfort works best but in a pinch, Napoleon Brady is fine), a large bottle of WKD (Blue causes a more aestethic look in the final brew but other types of WKD will do) and finally some orange juice.

Mix the Bourbon in with 3/4 of the WKD. Top off with the orange juice. Leave to cool in the fridge (or for a more discerning palate, the freezer).

Enjoy at house parties, on a quiet night in or on a trip to Amsterdam.

ahh, white russians, yes i approve.
takes me back to the days when I use to bring a litre of milk into fibbers for the barman to put in the fridge for me.
Got milk? you do now, make me a white russian.

Vodka, Whiskey, various cocktails and shots, and lots of Alcopops of any sort.

I don't know why, but I can't drink beer, it makes me sick if I even smell it. Maybe I drank too much as a child :D

It means I always spend a bloody fortune on drink whenever I go out....:(

hee hee, sorry clown bag, couldn't resist. I don't drink that much, but can really only stomach red wine in tiny doses. Any more, or anything else, and I puke and fall asleep in rapid succession.

    Depends on the mood really.
Usually Guinness or Budvar and Lagavulin.

But if I'm on the top shelf, it's anything goes.
Some favs would be mojitas, harvey wallbangers and tia maria with orange juice!

    EDIT:
Oh, the blasphemy... it's says Guiness in the poll

Recently I have been drinking Wyborowa Polish vodka and find that I can drink stupid amounts of it and not even notice the day after, never touch smirnoff or huzzar or any of those ****e pretenders again.

OP you could change the title now that you know you spelled it wrong you know instead of slagging the people who pointed it out.

When in a pub, pints of bavaria, when at a party, i'd bring rolling rock or miller. I'm dead cheap, like Corona and Bulmers when i have money.
