Cheap point&shoot

I've been trying to decide which relatively cheap point and shoot camera I should buy. I'm buying from pixmania (read enough horror stories, but am taking a risk because the amazing prices)... and have narrowed it down to 2 camera...

    KODAK EasyShare V530 Zoom black

    &

    FUJI FinePix Z1 Black

The fuji is 10euro cheaper but the pricery XD card, means bundled will be similar price.

I've read numerous reviews on each, and have come to following pro's and con's..

    Kodak:
Pro: SD, really easy to use, nice design, and again good quality pics with little messing about.
Con: More expensive, for a generally lower spec, slower USB speed (2.0 but not the highest speed), smaller screen, bad battery life

    Fuji:
Pro: better looking, excellent price for good spec, big bright screen, apparently good low-light pictures if tinker with settings, good battery life
Con: xd card, mixed stories about picture quality, sounds like you need to choose correct settings for every environment, less intuitive gui

Of course maybe I'm over looking a different camera. Am looking for an ultra compact point and shoot for 190euro or less with rechargeable built in battery. Use, parties, nights out, get-togethers, holidays, all the usual

    So what you folk think?
    Any advice would be great...
