    I don't remember what we're doing...I should though :/

Prose wise I *think* we've done

Banrion an Uaigneas le hEoghain O Domhnaill
An t-adh le Padraig O Conaire
    Calua le someone

    And more I can't remember >_<

    Poetry we've done is:

    An Telifis le Gabriel Rosenstock
An Cat Bealdorais le some guy
Na blatha craige le Liam O Flaithbheartaigh

And more poems too :/ I havent studied any Irish yet.

My novel is Aililiú Bop Suaidí by Rúairí Ó Báille.

    Poetry...
Subh Milis - Séamus Ó Neill
Bean tSléibhte - Padraig Mhac Péirse
    Bean Phaidín - Anon.
    Faoiléan - Michael Davitt

I know most of the stuff pretty well, so that takes some of the stress off in terms of revision.

Yeah Disney, we're only doing one story and two poems. I think personally I could be in trouble on the exam day as its not definite that one of my themes will come up but more than likely one of them will. Sure there's nothing I can do it about it, if one of my themes doenst come up then its my teachers fault for not doing enough stories with us to cover all the themes.

You are doing a novel. Fair play to ya yourpetzombie. We are just doing short stories. In the exampaper will you be answering part A of ceist2 in prose?

Cool Ciarán seriously I would do another 1, there is 1 that we are doing that is really easy and i would recommend that u do it, cause there are a load of feelings in it. If ur irish book is "Draíocht 3" go 2 page 282. It is called "An Gadaí" by Padraig Mac Piaras, its very simple, easy to understand, and it has loadsa feelings (listed on p.290 at the bottom!) mainly grá tho. there is even a sample ans on p.291. I'd just look over that for a bit of security!!! But anyway, hope it all goes well!!!!
    Go n-éirí an t-adh leat!!!!;)

No, I'll probably do B... We've never really done an answer for A.

An Gadai, I knew I forgot to put down something. Grá comes up as a theme every year afaik so I'm quite probably going to be using that story. ALso it's easy to waffle on about.

We've done one poem and one story! xD

See that's how bad I've gotton to, I'm now laughing at how crap I'm going to do in the Junior. I'm terrible at irish..

Well we're doing Banrion an Uaigneas as the story and An t-Ozon as the poem

    Ask your teacher?
Basically, three kids want to sneak onto a boat going to the mainland for a fair but one needs to stay behind as the other two will pretend to be pigs, and the boy left behind will have to tell the captain that there are two extra pigs on board. They draw straws, and the person with "an ceann is faide" is left behind, the author. He cries and eventually falls asleep on the beach. He wakes up to learn that the boat sank and that his friends dies.

Pull out the foclóir on anything you don't understand.

Anyway, I'm doing Dúnmharú ar an Dart le Ruaidhrí Ó Báile and Subh Milis le Séamus Ó Néill. I have other poems, but Such Milis covers about 7 themes.

Ah, I did Dunmharu ar an Dart...and the poem Faoilean, le Michael Davitt.

The novel was easy..the poems, you should just pick one that covers a load of themes, and bent it to fit the question. Faoilean was perfect for that...as was Mid Term Break in English JC...

The poetry and prose gets rock hard for the LC..Lig Sinn i gCathú is the worst thing ever, tbh.

    Poems:

Faoiseam A Gheobhasa by Micheal O Direan. Know this well.
Mac Eile Ag Imeacht. Know this ok. Should learn the author.

You see on ceist 2 of the prose and poetry? On part B, does

    (i) mean just write about the theme in the poem/story?
    whats (ii) mean?

It worked fine! I did brón.

And Aililiú Bop Siúáidí - Ruaidhrí O Báille

    I did Grá for that.
