    Does anybody know how to use bitlord behind a firewall, ie in college, coz i just saw some one using a p2p program behind the network

    depends how good your college admins are...

    for a torrent client to work you need one port on the firewall opened. now how you go about getting this port opened i wouldn't like to say as college is for learning not raping the bandwidth :p

    well since i'm leaving college at the end of the year, i have decided to get some good downloading in before i'm without free broadband in UCD, is there any software or add on i could get that would by pass the firewall

    as far as i know, you'll have to gain access to the router itself. which is not an easy task.

    with the amount of hassle and the easy traceability of such an action you'd have to weight it up and say is this worth it?

    tbh not a lot of people will help you here as this is generally frowned upon.
