Just looking for some excitement.. I know there used be one on Buttermilk lane but last time I looked it was gone ! I read about an adult only shop on a paper recently but can't remember where it was. Can any of you tell me where to find one? Hope I posted this in the correct place. Thanks in advance.

there is Underworld thats on Dominick street across from the strip club and next door to the net cafe i work in

there are others but not 100% sure where they are exactly.

I swear any time I go near that shop they've the notice on the door.

Yeah... I was doing the shopping in Tescos there yesterday and there were kids running all over the place... I'd love to find an 'adult only' shop to do my shopping in peace.

I find it difficult to beleive that people are asking this question since there is this weird guy holding a sign in Shop Street every day advertising this. Are you just trying to advertise this shop?

I have had the suspicion for a long time that these sex shops were a way of allowing criminals deal legally in sums of money without having to explain much to the tax man - in other words these people are pimps and drug pushers. I wonder how much truth is this theory?

Why would a sex shop not have to explain things to the revenue commission?

finnpark, I don't live in Galway. We go there for odd weekends, actually I haven't been there since last summer.. so I wouldn't have seen the weird guy holding a sign in Shop Street everyday !

You misunderstand me. I think some/all of these are criminals who need to explain where they get their money from and by having a sex shop allows them to cover their tracks. Its certainly a theory and its well known that these lap dancing clubs are pretty much the same way inclined. I think people should stay away from such places, there are plenty of other fun things to do rather than going to these kind of places.

I thought that shop was gone and they stuck some ,cannabis heads shop there.

Theres one out in the Lisban estate, visible from the Tuam Road. Never been in it even though I live just up the road from it
