    Yes it has.

There's a 'search' function. It works. Turns up about 125 hits in this forum alone.

thanks shabby - didn't answer my question though
'search' funtion turns up 125 hits sure (majority of them useless)
Would have been easier for you to just tell me yes or no surely? or can you just not survive without the sarcasm??

Anyone else want to give me a yes or no answer? Can it be done or not?
All I can find is someones opinion that it may not be available until 2008?
    Thanks

You can tune it in but a ROI sky viewing card will not decode the picture, so I'm afraid at the moment you can't view CHL4 with an Irish card.

    thanks digidec - much appreciated!

    That wasn't sarcasm.

    "I'm sooooooo sorrrryy" -> now THAT'S sarcasm.

searched the forum looking for "Channel4 on Sky"

seventh thread down "Channel4 available in Ireland?"

Sorry if it's too much effort. (Yeah - that was sarcasm too - just kidding)

no need for that crap shabbyroad

Mossy in fairness a lot of the same questions can be asked here over and over which can be tiresome for regular posters to read over and over again. As shabby says the search function is not often used before posting especially by newcomers.

No need for that Mossy. I don't appreciate it and would appreciate an apology.

OP got direct answer to their post and I even linked to the answer.

    No charge for the humour.

what is it with people wanting apologies lately

i do appreciate that questions are repeated, yes it does happen. but the tone in your response shabbyroad was unhelpful and not needed

Well if you don't understand there's nothing much I can do about it is there ?

I couldn't possibly speculate as to why people want apologies lately. Try the 'Personal Issues' forum. :D

    I didn't like your tone.

I advised the OP how to find the information that they needed. When they responded I even linked to it. You don't have to like the way I write but I don't have to put up with it being described as crap. You threw the first stone. Nyah nyah.

Just another thought, if it was possible to tune in Ch4 in ROI surely it would be mentioned on Charles's tuning instructions as hes one of the most helpful posters here.

    Good idea.

Perhaps it could be added as a single line to the instructions ?

shabbyroad, if you want to talk further about this then do please send me a pm and we can discuss further. as this thread can go nowhere else it is closed

YOU CAN TUNE C4 , but there are NO instructions

BECAUSE IT WON'T WORK ON AN IRISH CARD.

A UK card required. Then it is on EPG.
