Lidl no longer excites me

    Rant time!

    The twice weekly emails from Lidl used to be great.. a haven of cheapness in a world gone mad.. As a bloke, there was always something cheap and massively useful (2 way radios bought last year, havent used them yet but god they rock lol).

    Now its all ... Flowers and Garden Furniture..

    Bring back the Lads' Stuff!! Wheres the Car parts and Massively expensive techie things for a fiver gone!!?

    A cause for lament if ever there was one.

    Life must be good Trotter if all you have to complain about is that Lidl don't sell boys toys anymore :p

    It is! But it was always enhanced by a discount divers watch or something similar! :D

    I am getting counselling for my LIDL/ALDI impulse-buying-of-sh1te-I-don't-need. I nearly bought a fishtank in ALDI yesterday and I have bought every power tool imaginable even though most are still in their boxes since last year. The stuff is still coming through - the horsey stuff was a few weeks ago and the camping stuff is coming soon, dear Jeebus I'm going to have to buy a tent and some sleeping bags to feed my addiction.

    Its not gone away you know, its just hiding behind the cheap dogfood.

    If you're actually serious (:eek:) could I buy the power craft router off you please? Waiting ages for Aldi/Lidl to get it back in!
