Tatoo "Artist" ?

I'm looking to get a lions head tattooed on my upper arm above a triquetra symbol already there. I've had a look around on the internet for some ideas and it's left me a bit worried cos the vast majority of the ones i've seen are, well, crap. I'd be ashamed to have a lot of the tats I've seen out there. They're completely devoid of any artistic merit.

So, question 1: Does anybody know of a good tattoo artist in Ireland (Dublin preferably)who would be capeable of producing a realistic looking lion head on my arm cos i'm not prepared to be left with some disjointed, deformed looking feline imbedded in my skin for life.

Question 2: I want the tattoo in black and grey, should i try and get a black and grey finished image for the tattoist to copy exactly or would I be ok with a photo or something for them to work from? What's the best way to go about it?

Any help anyone can give would be great

    Cheers.

You could also ask for Mac in Colour Works (Above Flip in Temple Bar). He's an amazing artist.

Thanks for your replies. At least I know there's a bit of talent out there to choose from. Wasn't sure there would be, small country and all that. If i call into them they should have some photos of stuff they've done right?

Yeah you will be able to see previous work. Sean in Zulu has a book of his work on famous people too it's funny. Coolio, Billie Joe from Greenday and a good few more.
