Great credit and savvy sense to take this with a pinch of good humour. On an aside I found the Puggy Pearson shtick at the WSOP cringe worthy. I feel that if he had known who Phil Helmuth was he would have punched him in the face.

I find watching Helmuth play cash games is far more amusing...what a donkey.

Is this a form of acceptance of Helmuths own behaviour at the table? taking it with a pinch of salt could aslo be viewed as mocking yourself through someone who likes to mock you and laughing at it
