What to do?

Have Ntl Basic package (not digital) and don't want a landline (so won't be able to subscribe to Sky) what are my options for more channels?
I know I'm leaving this question open. Many thanks in advance.

It costs more to install but you only have to pay once.

i cant get it, ditto for the majority of this country. unless of course the op is lucky enough to live in an area capable of reception

You can pay a once off 37.50 Euro and no phone required for Sky.

Also a FTA satellite receiver has no subscription at all and no phone line and gets these:

You can get Sky without a phone line, it will cost more and you can only get one box, Sky Multiroom requires a phone line.

Since you already have NTL, your cheapest and easiest bet is NTL Digital. 60 digital channels is just an extra €5 pm or 120 channels is an extra €10pm. Digital boxes for exta rooms are just €5 pm per box.

They can do multiroom without a line. Full Price. There really is no other nearly universal way to ensure people are not defrauding them.
