I heard more. The good news is that there's only one company to call! Aon bikecare are the ONLY insurance company that will quote you I'm afraid and it won't be pretty. Link.

I'd have to buy a scooter first.
Would it be around 1000 mark?

Don't buy a scooter first. Check the insurance first.

The moped can cost from about 800 euros but you'll probably need to spend a bit more, any less and it's near the end of its life or damaged. Be careful when shopping around as most of them over two to three years old age really quickly and you could end up with a real lemon.

Look out for damaged fairings or replacement parts that didn't come with the moped. Both would indicate crash damage and the replacement parts might not be of good quality.

Most bike shops have the full listing for AON insurance broken down by CC and age, so you can check with them or ring AON for a quote.

    Thanks.
    I know nothing about them.
A good freind tried to sell one to me, most of the bike was parts and cable hanging out everywhere, i doubt its even roadworthy, anything else i should look out for?

    Thanks :)
