Salvage Yards

    Hi there! In the middle of a barn/loft conversion and we are totally stumped as to where there are salvage yards in Cork city and county...any advice would be much appreciated! Thanks:)

    there's one at teh bottom of forge hill, and there's a rake in the phone book. Just look under scrap merchants i think (they generally seem to take just metal)

    The one at the bottom of Forge Hill is a car dismantlers.

    I dunno about salvage yards but there is a shop on Tuckey Street that sells pitch pine and the like, so maybe they could put you in touch with such places.
