    Hey BB,
My sis was in Benidorm last year and said it was full of English and kids. She wouldn’t go back. That’s not to say its like that at all times of the year. Why not google Benidorm reviews and see what comes up. That’s what I did last year before booking my holiday.

    Thanks Kiera.

Yea, I have googled lots of reviews, but they're mostly orientated around the hotels the people stayed in, which I'm not interested in.

All in all though, the majority of the reviews have been good, which is why I'm thinking of going there.
Just wondered if any Boardsters had been so I could ask actual questions to them, etc.

I also googled Salou (my other choice) & it was mostly favourable too, but after a few replies from Boardsters I know to stay well away.

I really appreciate any help, want to book it soon
    Thanks

Hey there, my Aunt lives in Campello, so we used to go there on holidays most years, and we'd visit Benidorm once or twice, mainly for the market. I think it's a horrible place. Full of fat English scumbags with gold chains hangin from their necks, eatin fish and chips. It's not at all what I want in a holiday, and I shalln't be returning!

Probably not what you wanted to hear, so sorry :/

    Thanks Dave,

I prefer for people to tell me that, if it's the case, as opposed to me paying a small fortune to find out myself.

    Thanks.

Does it have to be Spain? How about one of the islands in Greece?

Was there about 10 years ago - the worst destination I've ever been.
Full of retired English couples - incredibly tackie - disgusting high rise apartments.

Go to Nerja - Beautiful Beautiful Beautiful

Went to Zakynthos last year & spent a day in Kefalonia.
both absolutely gorgeous & really enjoyed the hol, just with the world being so big, don't want to go to the same place twice.

What I really want is something to do (don't like sunbathing), so somewhere with themeparks / waterparks / watersports / maybe something like karting / safaris etc......

That's why both those places were on my list.

If anyone knows of other places that meets the bill, I'm all ears!!!

Went to Lanzarote last year too, & I was bored sensless after a few days

Benidorm is nice if you're justa couple going to have fun. Let there be no pressure you will think some of it is a kip but the food is good and there is plenty to do. Theres a great zoo type part i went to but i was with my wife and 1.5 yo baby.
