    Hi,

Can anybody recommend shops in Dublin that sell U2 memorabilia? Unfortunately I don't have time to order something off the web as I need to get a present for the end of the week.

    Cheers

There's a shop on Aston Quay just down from what used to be Virgin Megastore. Don't know the name but it's yellow and on the corner. They do a lot of memorabilia.

thats a rip off shop mate. they were done last summer for selling vhs/dvd bootlegs and vinal imatitions
there picture discs are italian fake imports there all over ebay 1/3rd of the price.
id say your best bet is buy and sell ebay or on u2 forums.
i can back up my statements completly.
i got a mate who values records ,and it was in the paper. go to oxfam stores and stuff like that . you just nevfer know what people throw away.
ive nothing personaly against the shop. but i bought stuff for extorsion prices in it to find out it was completly worthless
im sure some of there gear is good im just saying how i got stung..

For online buying, try Gemm. It is a collection of resellers from around the world, like Amazon Marketplace or eBay without the bidding.
I've bought a good few old (late 80s/early 90s) CDs either new or mint condition. All for great prices and no problems with any purchases.

You can search by media type (vinyl/CD etc) and condition (new/mint etc) and seller location. Sellers are rated to help you decide.
