I think they all suck ass apart from the first one. But you should have held the camera straight or else fixed it afterwards.

ok, jools, you do post a lot of photos here and to be honest, they generally are pretty boring. It's good you are enthusiastic, but I think you just gotta try and actually do some tutorial or something. Pick a photo then try and replicate it. Like I dont mean to sound big headed but even check out my photos, and get some ideas. Not that my photos are the ultimate aim, but if you see a pic you like and then you want to try something like it, I'll be more than happy to tell you step by step how I did it.

    Good luck!

    Shrimp.
I will take a look at your work on the other website but if I can find nothing good to say I will not enter into destructive criticism.

Do you not post anything on this site? Why is this?

Wooden cobbles one is good.. its the lightning that makes that photo..

It's things like simple lighting that makes a great photo..

I think you need to think about choice of subject, and then composition, positioning the camera towards the best angle and making it creative with what available light there is..

An example (if you don't mind?) is a photo I took of someone..

It tells alot, cutting off the head is to take distraction away, whilst the focused mid-rift, and knocking out focus in the background.
A black and white conversion was made, leaving the belt open - As though a marketing photo to lead the eye towards that belt.
