Playing in a live game in Jurys at PP Irish open..1/2 nl cash game

I buy in for 200 euro after one nice hand with AK I triple up and pick up a few small pots.. stack 700

Table is relatively loose and there are some mad preflop raises going on..I'm in mid position..one raise to 15 by maniac, gets one caller,I call, the button calls..SB,BB fold

    My hand 7c9c

flop comes down 8d10c4c giving me open ended straight draw and flush draw

First two callers check so I decide to have a go at the pot..

    I Bet 70
Button calls ..Pot now approx 200

    Turn card 10h

    I bet 80

    Button calls (pot now 360)

River comes Jh giving me straight ...I think I'm ahead and bet 200... he reraises me all in ..I think he can't have house and thinks I missed my draw to the flush, probably stupid as he would have reraised me on turn possibly?I decide he is on draw too...

I call not giving him credit for the house.. I really don't know what he has,

He turns over Q9 for another gutshot.. any ideas, thoughts or comments on my play welcome....:(

Mostly that just looks unlucky, you played it well. Not many people are going to be bluffing that river, but he could well have a lone Ten.

what im thinking is this guy called a raise in the first place with Q9! god i love poker.... you were v uncky.. i would have put him on a lone ten. just want to mention one thought though . The board was paired and you did not have the nut striaght... even if i put him on the lone ten i would have checked cause im a chicken when it comes to losing my stack unless i know i have the nuts.. good luck

You played it fine, I definitely don't expect to see Q9 here and he can have plenty of hands that you beat.

What was villans stack at the start of the hand? Push turn?

Don't think you can fold the river.

I assumed villain covered, since only one stack was given. I don't really like a 600+ push into a 200 pot here, it would be different if you were raised on the flop and then you pushed. (depending who button is and if he has to have a set to raise that flop).

Nah me either, I didn't read the HH properly. If it the villan had <€250 left I push the turn.

A couple of things ... really

    1. Why bet 80 into 200 on the turn?
    2. On the river you say "I think I'm ahead so I bet 200", and when he pushes you call.

What do you think will call the 200 ...and what do you think he has when he raises the river?

You have the non-nut straight on a paired board, and somebody is ready to go for 700 in a 1/2 game ...... on the river ......

    hmmmmm.

I don't like your turn bet..Bet more, or don't bet.

I check call a pot sized bet on the river..

Fuzz, in these games people think any Ten is the nuts.

Then how come he didnt raise the turn?

This looks far more like a hand that beats hero ... hero has about the worst hand that will take this sort of action.

Also - why check/call river ... if they think a T is the nuts?
