    Get the HP. I have a HP laser Jet 1022, The model above the 1020. Brilliant printers, Very fast and toners last for ever in them. Never let me down once in a year now.

    I have the HP 1020. Excellent printer... absolutely no complaints (although it could hold more paper...).

    I did a lot of research before I bought, and I'm really glad I went with the 1020.

    I can recommend the Canon C3200, is an A4 color laser, nice.

    Thanks everyone... I got the HP 1020. I did a load of printing on it today and Ive no complaints at all. Hopefully the toner will last a while.. rumour has it that HP ship new printers with half full toners.

    thats not a rumour, tis true, scabby basturds, just make sure you now buy the cheaper reconditioned toners and not the rip off HP ones.

    as far as I know, all printer manufacturers do this. (certainly Canon, Lexmark, Xerox and QMS do) They give what they call a start up toner. Cheap feckers.
