    Hey,

myself and my mates are heading there this summer for three weeks...

we have booked flights in and out of prague. we plan on staying there for a while then travelling around the country. has anybody been travelling around there? what city's/town's should i look out for (not bother looking out for)..

i have been told that Cesky Krumlov is fantastic. So we're planing on heading there too...

Any advice hostel wise? what are the good/bad ones... what bars do the best beer etc...

    cheers!

right i was there for 5 days, but tbh it was the most enjoying 5 days of my life.

any bar that sells Pilsner urquell (think that's the name of it) in a green bottle with a red waxy looking stamp on it. It is quality and is only like 1 euro/1.50 a bottle.

i reccommend you getting a tour to terezin, which was a nazi worker camp which is situated about 1 1/2 hours outside prague, i can't remember the price of the tour but they weren't that expensive (< 40euros) but it's an all day trip. from my experience there i was pretty much in awe of it.

all these tours can be booked from a tour operator that has a stand on the main street of prague - sorry i don't have the name but it's the O'Connell street of prague - it the street also with the national museem.

these tour operators also had a tour to the pilsner urquell beer factory which if i had more time i would of loved to go...

Cesky Krumlov is a must see. Apparently it's got a good nightlife too but i've not stayed over there yet. Budweis is not supposed to be that nice although a brewery tour is probably in order.

Obviously there's Prague and after that I can't be of any help!
