Campsites in Germany

Going over for the world cup and am looking into booking campsites but I've had trouble finding any on the net.

We are staying in Frankfurt for a night, which I know would hardly be a place littered with campsites around it, but I havn't been able to track down a single one so far. Anyone ever camped round here before?

Also Stuttgart if anyone has been there.

Campsites, hostels, or short let apartments would be great.

Nah, I've looked for campsite info as well but found it very difficult to get a hold of. My guess is that they'll work with the hotels and get as many over-priced bed spaces sold and then nearer to the tournament they'll start providing info regarding campsites. There's still hostels available but around the days when there's actually matches on in the citys they become very thin on the ground.

I'll be in Frankfurt for the QF :)
