Plenty of pubs, easy access to town, a few scangers about the canal and around crossguns bridge. Other than that its cool.

Moved to Broadstone last September (For college). Pretty nice area. Never got any hassle. Fairly quiet at night. Pubs are grand, McGowans would be your local. Cheap drinks on Thursdays.

There's a Tesco's up the road, along with various take-aways, chemists and everything else you'll need. You're a 10 minute walk from town tops. Really handy.

You can get the 4, 19 or 19a buses, they're frequent enough.

There's three different parks about too.

If you have any other questions, ask away!

    plenty of scangers around though.

i live there, got beaten up on the canal and mugged on the railway bridge...

just be careful, don't start fights with the lower classes (;) :D ), lock up your bike and car and don't walk towards cabra at night and you'll be fine :D

Thanks, that's really helpful... I used to live in Dublin but it's been a while and things have changed so much in the intervening years so I really don't know how much of what I "know" is still valid. Appreciate the help!
