Can't wait! I remember there was a thread on the films board, there was so much confusion about when it was due to be released, nobody seemed to know. Whoot!

Yeah I saw something in my UCI cine mail that it was comming out in the next week or two, Cant rember when it said.

cant wait for silent Hill, and before any one volenteers any info on the film I dont want any. I wana see with out any preconceptions. Well apart from having played the game.

Another comedy Horror do we need more? Shall wait and see but im in no hurry to see this one.

    Can't wait for this.

I'm disappointed with the ads which tag this as "Outrageous Comedy", while I appreciate that the film has alot of comic element to it I am fairly sure its not quite as genre defining as the trailer has us believe.

I know several people already who think its a "scary movie 4" type spoof

I loved the unrated trailer, it looks very gory - I hope the film wasn't cut/edited/whatever since then. 18's rating? I'm hoping so, but with films like Final Destination 3 and Land of the Dead getting a lowend 15A rating from the new guy, I won't be overly disappointed if its lower.

Bah, rated 15A. Still, as mentioned previously, with the likes of Land of the Dead and Final Destination 3 receiving the same rating, this could still be a gross out affair :D

Trailer looks interesting, but I think I'll wait for the DVD.

    ditto.

had a good few one liners and the actors made it a good go of it but it was all a bit meh

I did love the 80s B-movie style though...and non-cgi special effects were great. Some great gore.

It was....ok. I was hoping for more outright strangeness, I suppose. It's nice to see it as a parody of any number of older american "they came from outer space" type films, but it doesn't really stand up by itself. It was an entertaining watch, but I doubt I'd buy it on DVD.

I particularly liked the mayor :D

Its not quite bad enough to make a good cheesy B-Movie, but it tries... its entertaining.
