Party 2/4 6 max, Stacks me 400 villian covers
Dont know anybody at this table, only got 200 hands on the villain and have no notes on him so nothing remarkable

Im on the button with AKs. One guy opens for 15, villain calls, i make it 50 straight

Flop comes 1063. Villain checks and I bet 100. [Good bet size?] He calls

    Turn comes a 3. He checks. I? [I have around 250 left]

Follow up hand with the same villain, results for the previous hand maybe necessary but anyway

limped to villain in sb who completes, i check with 99 [I raise 99% but decide not to here as im trying to become more passive preflop after getting myself into too many pots getting min riased on flop or having to give up pots on turn when i miss]
btw stacks here are im 400 villain covers [its next orbit to previous hand]

Flop comes 965 all diamonds. He checks I bet 7 [pot is 8]
    He calls
    Turn comes a 6. He checks, i bet 15, he makes it 50 . I [trap] call?

    River comes a 5. he checks, I?

Bet 150 and call a raise.

Hand 1. Push or shut up shop

    Hand 2.

he has flopped somthing, flush, tripped up on the turn or Ad.

So, if he does have the Ad we are not getting paid by a non-diamond river, if he has a flopped the flush, to that river card we are also not getting paid by a flopped flush (hindsight is great :))

I think I might try re-raise the turn here to make it look like I have a hand but one that does not have a d in it

Interesting hand and unless he has the six I don't think this pot is going to grow in size on the river, as he completed the small blind a 6 is a strong possibilty, SC 76 or somthing... at worse 66!

I'd bet the pot on the river and push if he raises. If he has 55 or a straight flush then so be it.

In hand one I really dont think he has a set or overpair. At best he has a10, or a medium pair like 77/88. With this read, whats the best bet size to get him to fold? Just push? or bet say 125? the pot is already 300+

In hand 1 you have position on him, there is a good amount in the pot already-the way the hand has unfolded he probably has you on AK, maybe AQ but most likely a large pair. For him to be merely calling raises preflop he could have at minimum ATs, or indeed any pair greater than 8s. I would be inclined to check this turn card-IMO its a stronger move than a check here, if you have the big pair it looks like you're inviting a river bet and the texture of the board is such that it allows another card to roll off.

I honestly cant think what kind of a hand he can afford to check-call that flop with. AT, JJ, and underpairs all demand raises. A set or an QQ,KK,AA are the only hands that can realistically make that play->lets not forget that he has to act first on the turn.

A very tricky situation you've gotten yourself into. I probably would have played a 3way pot for $15 with that hand rather than blowing the cap off with those raises.

I would probably check it and see what he does on the river. A rag may see him check-beware of him betting into a board that rolls an ace or king off as the river card as he prbably has you beat.

For hand two-> call the turn and check the river

Results for 1st hand which are quite relevant to second hand : I pushed for 250 into 300 and he called instantly with a6. The river was an ace! I couldnt understand his call here at all but anyway

seems like he was playing sherrif with you. Were you swinging the lead at this table?

Don't know how I missed the first hand, I would check behind here and pay him off once the ace hits on the river, though I expect he has a set a lot of the time.

Having seen the results for the first hand, I change my vote to push the second hand all in.

In hand 1 - I raise more preflop (that old chestnut), if I am going to raise. When they call that flop, they usually are prepared to call you to the felt, and often they have hit their set. I check the turn. If he leads an A on the river, then I try to put it down, but am often unable. If he checks an A on the river, then I bet.

In hand 2 - I 3-bet the turn after seeing what a donkey he is.

    So you generally dont raise?
If you do, how much do you make it?

Hand 1 once the guy calls the flop bet he is calling any further bets, do not bluff here ever unless you like giving money away.
