    Hi there :)

Just been considering buying a hand held video and thought you guys would be the best people to come to for advice. Has anyone got any reccomendations of reasonably new kit?

I'm not too into the Vision M or the i-Pod though; that's why I need a hand.

    Anyone got any ideas?

    Thanks :)

Obviously, try before you buy. And buy those computer magazines with reviews and read reviews on the internet. Get more than one source, etc. The usual stuff.

But the thing with PMP's is how to get the videos on them. A LOT of players (including some Archos ones) make it very tricky to get videos onto it, and only support a few file types. I'm a bit rusty on this though so I'm sorry if I'm not making sense. I read up a lot about this a while ago but I just can't remember the makes and I'm not bothered to look up on them.

Anyway, Archos and Creative ones seem to do the job. Although, is it just me or do most of the Archos ones have REALLY small screens? The ones I see have a tiny screen when, for the frame of it, it could actually be bigger.
