Video file problem.

    Hi,
    I just downloaded a video but when I play it in media player I cannot seek using the slider.. The video just stops and I have to start from the start again. I cannot pause either.. It plays okay in power dvd though. What exactly is the problem here and is the a utility that I can get to fix this because I want to burn it to cd later but want it to play flawlessly on other peoples computers too..

    Install and analyze the file. You will probably find that the file is actually a different file format than you expect. If it needs to be repaired.. try using Video Fixer

    Try VLC Movie player - has a rake of video codecs biult in - plays almost anything!
