Could someone who has some kind of 'insider' knowledge about the goings on booking gigs in the Village please advise me as to how Gilby Clarke tickets have yet to go on sale, despite being advertised on both his myspace page, and the myspace page of support acts as well as the official homepage of his support act Doug Dopplar? Im not sure whats going on, because when i went to buy tickets, the lady in the booth told me that until confirmation is listed on the site tickets are not on sale for the gig....but its getting closer and closer and nothing has happened (surely he doesnt think tickets will be snapped up in a quick hurry does he?)

I don't know what the hell is going on with this, but I've been checking the websites every few days to see if there's been any updates and tickets being available - and nothing.......but you're right, a couple of weeks to the date and still nothing, it's never appeared on the Village site though ?????
who's supposed to be promoting it ?

I think it'll do well though, there'd be enough interest in Dopplar on his own, and Clarke is a sure bet to draw some people in...
