i've been playing guitar for a few of years now and started learning my scales about a year or so ago(blues, major pentatonic and major),rescentely i have been stuck just playing pretty much the same solo over and over again and am not sure what to learn next,
so basically i'm looking for something that would help me out regarding this,a mate that has been playin for years said he had the same problem back when he was in the same situation and recommended that i check out a couple of guitar teaching dvd's

so i think i want to pick up a couple of dvd's for learning lead guitar techniques, pref aimed at the blues(clapton, stevie ray, jimi paige and hendrix well that direction anyhow!)was hoping someone would be able to give me a recommendation at all please?

    cheers in advance

You know, I don't know, but I'd probably like something similar myself, but more directed towards Metal.
