Probably because it was a stupid thread that went off topic (not that there was much of a topic to start with).

the question of what fuels our decision making, is an extremebly indepth topic my friend, think of it, can we be studied as a science, is it simple are are we intangiable/fluid or what, why do we do what we do,
    hardly a stupid question.

I've just been talking to the "powers that be"*.

The reason the thread was locked lies in this equation:
Reason for Closing = alpha x mod mood + beta x number of mods + theta x lack of relevant information in thread + gamma x easter egg

    *Not true

Your oh-so-pleasant manner may also have had something to do with it :)

Plus you can't forget secret option d, which includes all of the above, and that the user called the moderator slow.

    Damn you peachy.

Nope, only by a boards-wide referendum.

Haven't we reached our quota on those?

Hmmm this doesn't bode well for The Dump.

There are no such thing as stupid questions. Just stupid people.

Oh and why does something have to "fuel" decision making? We are not intangible or fluid (well physically we contain a lot of fluids), we're very much tangible. If you've ever sat down in a dissection theatre then you'd know just how tangible we are.

You can tell I've nothing better to do tonight.
