Car Rental in East Europe

    Hopeing to rent a car in dubrovnik and drop it off in north croatia after a week. There doesn't seem to be an excess for a different drop off location in the rental price but will there be a nasty surprise for me when I actually do drop it off in the end? I couldnt find any small print to sugest there is..


    Anyone have any similar experiences?

    Generally one way rentals attract a drop off charge which can be as much as a weeks rental. Hertz and the other well known companies have these type charges. Details are on their sites.

    did it last year mate. zagreb to split. no drop off charge for in excess of two days rental. i went wi hertz. paid for a corsa and got upgraded to 1.6 astra wi all the the extras :) cos they were out of corsa's.

    i defo recommend this. go up the coast and cut in and across to the national parks. cant think of he name of the one we went to. has the lakes, UNESCO hertiage site

    Plitvice Lakes, Kornati? ...regardless, you are doing the right think travelling around, an amazing country.
