I remember seeing a couple of them in a show in Wexford a few years ago. There was a red one around Cork too.

They are just B- E-autiful! There was one at the Durrow show this year and last. Very sporty looking and quite small!

There was a guy trying to sell a fairly rough looking red one at Terenure last year. Seemed like a deal was there to be had, if you were willing to put in a bit of work. It was dublin based, and was trailered away by the owner at the end of the day.

Just saw the posting on the Opel GT. This is top of the list of my favourite cars. Never saw one in Ireland. There is a company in Holland which specialises in restoring them - google Opel GT Suselbeek or this link may work
http://www.gt-teile.de/pag/sus.html. They don't seem to update the site but lots of drooling material. Also one for sale for quite a while on Classic Cars Ireland -automatic for 8500 - not sure if that's cheap or dear. Maybe when the SSia's come in!!

    T:) :)

Can i ask, the asking price of €8,500 does this include shipping to ireland? Id imagine not. What the total cost do you reckon? And anyone think its worth €8,500 + whatever it costs to ship etc????

Yes the price seems to include shipping and registration as it says on his website 'Unless otherwise stated, prices INCLUDE ALL costs, landed in Ireland on Irish (period) number plates.'

correct, price includes ALL costs, landed in Ireland on Irish plates.

by the way, it's better to visit the site with a straight link rather then through a add supported link provider...
