    has anyone managed to get this game to work with sp2. it crashes randomly and freezes causing me to hard reboot, its driving me nuts. i got the patch 1.3 that supposedly fixes it, didnt help tho. anyone???

    I have it working fine with SP2 without any patches. It does crash maybe once every two or three gaming sessions but i'm used to much worse from Morrowind so I don't mind and just save regularly. I believe there's advice in this forum about reducing crashes somewhere, I tried some of it but didn't notice a difference myself. Maybe it'll work for you. Good luck with it anyway.

    it genrally crashes during talking bits, fiddled with diff sound settings, hardware/software etc... no change. tis driving me mad

    I have no idea if this will help but I ad a problem with X3 Reunion before during talking parts aswell, reinstalling Windows Media Player 10 sorted it out for me.
