No. 7 bus. Normally you could get this from O'Connell St, but if it's today you need it, the parade probably means the buses are not going northside.

Dart from Connolly to Blackrock. Actually if you are going to Blackrock Clinic Booterstown is a better stop I think. It's a bit of a walk to the hospital I think.

    Buses, trains

Number 7 bus but not 100% sure where it goes from now. The terminus used to be on the quays beside O'Connell Bridge. It stops right outside the clinic. DART to Blackrock . When you come out of the station into Blackrock, you need to turn the right and keep walking - 5-10 minutes I think.

I'd say DART to either Booterstown or Blackrock too. The walk from Blackrock DART station is nicer - you can go through the park. Around 10 mins walk, I'd say. Depending on what time you're going the bus may be delayed by the roadworks on the Rock Road.

In addition to the 7 you can get the 5, 7A and 8 from O'Connell Street and the 45 from Corn Exchange Place (just off Burgh Quay).

There are massive road works on the Rock Road currently which are adding considerable time to journeys. Its now single lane in both directions when it was 2 lanes, the tailbacks are fairly nasty, the schools are back next week so all out mayhem returns

Blackrock is the best station its a 10-15 minutes walk from the station. All DART services and most commuter services stop in Blackrock. The station footbridge has a lift. You can get a list of trains using the timetable planner http://www.irishrail.ie/home/. You leave the station go left up the hill into the village then right and right again onto the Rock Rd. You can walk through the Park also

Bus does gets you closer but it takes longer

5, 7, 7A, 8 and 45 all stop outside the Blackrock Clinic, but they are split across two termini and Dublin Bus have a tendency to move the 5/7/7A/8 bus stop on O'Connell Street around due to the work on the street.
