    Hey... Here's some of my first photos... I'm only kinda starting out, I took these with a "point and shoot" style digi cam (samsung U-CA 5... 5MP's)... Any comments welcome, good or bad!

    Sweet, love the first one, reminds me a lot of what Warhol was doing photograpy wise in the mid 60's.

    You have a natural eye for composition, keep it up, and it's great to see a newbie being brave and stupid enough to be tackling human subjects so early on!

    Don't be afraid to experiment with colour.

    thanks... i did actually do colour... but they were too big for the site... ive resized them... here they are... well some of them...

    Very interesting shots. Point and shoots are great for starting out with and learning what type of shots you want to take. Its why Im still using one before forking out for an expensive one. Keep it up, these are good. I like the 2nd coloured set better.

    Very well done. I like all of your pics, but I think number 5 in the OP looks better in colour, just personal preferance. i like the way the red of the subjects lips stands out.

    thanks everyone...

    the exp time for the last one... (the last b/w one) was either 4 or 6 seconds (as far as I can remember!) and the only light was from the candle... As for the other very pics I think they were around the 1 second mark...
