No, of course not... I mean the radio programme!

Seriously tho, did anyone hear this mornings prog? Thought I'd turned into BBC by mistake. A very British slant indeed....

.... or is it just me?

Sheesh.. where did they dig him up from? Last time I came across him he was presenting Going for Gold.

I always felt Alan Hughes modeled himself after Kelly. I even said it to Hughes one time and he didn't deny it, at the time he was doing that really cheesey Talkabout show on RTÉ.

Wasn't Kelly done for tax evasion recently?

ohmigod! Going for Gold! I remember it!!!

A bit cheesy and very "European"!

Youre right about Alan Hughs... even looks like him.

I caught some of the show on Saturday morning.

It was a bit odd hearing him alright but as a presenter he is good.

His content was a bit off for my liking but surely that is down to the producers and not the presenter?

Plus I am sure it would be hard enough to get guests over the Easter weekend.

He was certainly more 'slick' than Eddie Hobbs was last weekend.

I heard a bit of Kelly waffling on about cricket and Belvedere and such like ,and after enduring Hobbs the previous weeks with that ANNOYING Cork accent and delivery... I says to meself ....How come all those highly paid wh@nkers out in Ar TEE EEE can shunt off for the Xmas/Paddies week/Easter/ and then the whole Summer and still command mega salaries????

And then it came to me.... shure arn't the taxpayers of Ireland paying them

Sadly, I missed this. Hobbs isn't a radio man, but it was refreshing to hear a thick regional accent on RTÉ, as an antidote to the Donnybrook version of RP

Kelly has been busy trying to reinvent himself as a news man, since he left/got sacked from Classic FM's breakfast show, which he hosted for more than 10 years, then the tax mishap occurred. Declared bankrupt, in fact. Very little telly in that time. More recently, I've seen him do the Sky News paper reviews.
Apparently, he's doing a "Partridge".... BBC Radio Berkshire, no less...

i think he did a great job. i like the sound of his voice on radio. although Dana is way too much for it. sounds like shes going to cry when she opens her mouth.

He was on LBC radio in London doing drivetime for a fair while not long back.
