Is microsofts new and 'improved' way of saying Operating system not found, does the bios detect it as master?

If it does well then you will probably have to fdisk the drive by booting off a floppy and then formating it, if it doesnt well then the disk might be faulty, hard to tell without doing it,

try this. right click on my computer and click manage. select disk management and if you see it there it will need to be initialised and should run ok after that.

Could be wrong, but it sound like the bios is ordering you HD's so that it is trying to boot up off the new 60GB unit. Try going into your PC's BIOS and selecting your old HD as the first boot device. Depending on your PC/motherboard, there are different ways to get into it, say pressing DEL or F9 after the PC posts!

    Hope this helps.....
