Any ideas of things to do in Galway for a mobility impared person?

My parents are in Galway for the weekend, mum is in a wheelchair and has very limited mobility in general and they are finding it hard to find things to do there. I would be greatful for any suggestions. My dad is finding the streets in the centre very akward for mums wheelchair.

also just to let everyone know im completely bogged down with work at the mo (am in 3rd year/ college) and i haven't had that much time to do stuff like checking boards and write thesis/ essays/ do fieldwork placement at the same time so am taking a break from boards the next 7 weeks/ 2 months or so until this placement ends, and iv more time on my hands so my posts will be sporadic at best
