40 cm transparent dish

i want to place a dish on the roof and cause minimal upset to the neighbours

I hope you have a good signal! I have seen transparent dishes, though 40cm doesn't leave much rain margin anywhere.

it's for Astra 2D in Amsterdam. you could nearly pick it up with an lnb attachted to a pair of sunglasses

altough during very heavy rainstorms you might get signal breakup on a 40cm transparent dish, but i'm willing to live with that to keep the neighbours from complaining

Never seen a 40cm transparent - possibly because the performance of transparent dish is poorer than solid.
