I'm starting to panic now. Wood Work projects & portfolios are meant to be complete by 28th of April. Right?

Well I'm panicing as I haven't even begun my project, portfolio, or anything! And I'm back on the 24th, and only four days to put a spice rack outta me!

And it's not that I don't work, I want to work just my teacher doens't do anything, and we were out of the wood work room until March(from September - March) as it was being refurbished.

I'm not happy about this, I went asking to get timber but told me to go away and help the class a$$holes with their projects and got theirs done ready for varnishing when we come back from Easter holidays.

What will happen if I don't meet the 28th deadline? I will be working my butt off (only two classes  to get it completely done!).

I am bricking it....I can do the theory okay, but the practacal is what worries me...the school don't seem to care what-so-ever

Ehh..don't mean to sound bad but a spice rack? That's first year standard/beginning second year standard so I'd say you'll have no problem with that. I'm making a very complicated childrens chair that folds out into a bench. I've got a week to finish it and I've only done the leg joints so far. I ain't gonna get it finished. Plus I need to do my working drawing, and most of my portfolio (what do you put in it? I only have a couple of BAD drawings).

Yup. I'm screwed. WHY did i pick woodwork?

my woodwork project still needs doors and a drawer but i dont woory coz teacher tells me that the date is only guide line, and that inspectors dont really start comin until near J.C itself, So relax, you'll get it done

We have been permitted to work on...much to my princepals discression!

I should finish it up in the next week or so, I got my pieces cut, and half of them are trenched. Once it's complete I will get cracking on the Portfolio as We've not gotten them yet

    You don't have it bad.
Last Friday my friend was rushing to get his finished as he was behind everyone in the class and slit his hand open with the chisel.

That's the last thing he needs, I'm left handed and in January I broke a bone in my hand. And it took a while to recooperate, but it was quite painful during the Mocks...but I made it through!

Hope he's okay and it wasn't too serious.

He's ok, it wasn't too bad. But he still is freaking out quite a bit.
