    Hey Guys,
Bit of advice if you dont mind. Any ideas on a decent basic video editing program something similar to Windows Movie Maker? Ive been using this software but find it can be tricky syncing music and pictures plus it tends to crash often enough for me(it may not like one of my audio codecs).

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Pinnacle is good (not free though)
Ulead Video Studio is good also (but not free)

Not Free but Sony Vegas is really worth the money.

Personally I think it's easier to work with vegas than Premiere Pro.

hey Timbuk2 - thanks for the suggestion. I had a look at Pinnacle and the Ulead software - seems pretty good.

And thanks to you too cutepape for your suggestion!

Actually, after I posted this I had a rummage round to see what stuff came with this comp last year when I got it. Turns out it came with "Power Director" which does exactly what I wanted - just spent the last hour making a pretty kick-ass video! (And by "kick-ass" I mean lame, but its all good!:D )

So thanks to you guys for your help! ;)

Most good ones are not free.

I use Nero Vision Express and never had any problems....
