2 issues with Thunderbird 1.5

    Finally got around to installing 1.5 last night but I've spotted two issues with the app that I didn't have before...
    firstly it seems to stop picking up updates from RSS feeds after a while for some reason; today for a while there was no update, and I happened to visit a site I subscribe to only to see loads of new posts; I clicked to manually check for updates rather than wait for the automated check to happen and it found nothing, I shut it down, restarted and it found them no problem.

    Secondly, this isn't a problem as much as an annoyance but when I do get new contect coming in on my RSS feeds I get the alert that in the old version only sounded for emails; it's a bit annoying because once I hear the sound I automatically think I have a new mail, and the amount of feeds I subscribe to it's bound to be sounding off all day (as long as TB is connecting OK!!)

    Any ideas on how to fix this?
