More fish on stars than PPP?

I've been playing on both the above sites for a while now, and I've noticed that there seems to be a lot more fish on stars. Now granted I'm no shark, I'm talking about the lower stakes, .25 .50/ .50 1. I've been playin these tables for a while on PPP, and sometimes you can be up against pretty good players, but on stars it seems these tables are almost always easily dominated. In my experience 95% of players on stars are American. My theory is this, although poker is really taking off here, in the states it has such a bigger profile. Ivey, Hellmuth et al are almost like movie stars over there, therefore there are a lot more 'ordinary' people trying the game out, like when you were a kid you used to play tennis on the street when Wimbledon was on telly, or snooker when the Crucible was on. Whereas over here a mojority of online players have come from some kind of poker background, mainly draw poker, and as such generally have a slightly higher skill level. Has anyone else noticed this, or have I just been lucky with the tables I sit at?

The higher level games on pokerstars are among the highest quality on the internet whereas tribeca (ppp etc) is quite low.

Stars certainly get a lot of the TV watchers due to their advertising who would be very poor but play low levels whereas tribeca has sites like PPP and BlueSquare who also have sportsbetting sites so anyone betting big money on sports/casino may be tempted to try poker as its just another form of gambling to them and would jump in at a higher level
