Not too sure about delivery. But try New Peking in Windy Arbour. The food is lovely.

Fu Moon beside the playwrite...not sure how good it is though...New Peking (see above) is great but thats a bit far...damn them to hell for closing The Great Wall in blackrock village :(

Prob won't deliver as far east as that area but Sunkist in Clonskeagh is the best. Nothing comes close. And the Bombay Pantry beside it is good too.

i'd say the Dublin City board might be able to provide you with a good answer

Probably waaaaaaaaaaaaay too late now, but for future reference, the Kingsland Chef in Glenageary is absolutely your only man. They do, quite literally, the best takeaway food at the best price in South Co. Dublin, and I'll stand by that.

Good Chinese in Blackrock/Monkstown/Dun Laoghaire, Dublin?

Will they have to chase you round all these areas or will you actually stay in one for a while and give them a chance to deliver?

I'm tempted to try it, what are the nicest meals on the menu?

Fu Moon is at best OK

IMO Fu Moon beside the playwright has gone downhill recently.
Try "Lets eat in" in Shankill.
They charge a bit extra for delivery...but the portions are huge and the quality is generally pretty good.
They do Chinese, Thai, Indian and italian. Got a take aaway from there last weekend and I won't be ordering from anywhere else in the near future.
    Quality nosebag!!!

I think Foo moon is one of the best takeaways in Dublin. I recommend the dry chicken chow mein, cantonese duck and the yuk sung. Yum yum yum.

I'm a major fan of their Chicken Chow Mein. I like anything they do with blackbean or their beef and ginger. It's definitely worth at least trying. It's not too unreasonable either.

One caveat thought, my ex girlfriend had a bit of trouble with one of their delivery men one time. I was going to ring them up and sort it out, but she was too scared so I left it. That doesn't really reflect on the restaurant at all though, it's just something to watch out for if you get a delivery. Of course, that guy probably doesn't work for them anymore, we certainly never saw him again.

    Fu Moon's not great imo.

Golden Elephant in Dun Laoghaire is nice. They do Thai also.

Rickshaw in Deansgrange do take-out which is second to none...but also in terms of price.

Kingsland chef in glasthule do a cracking yuk sun (i think thats how it's spelt) and their satay is massive or Paddy fields in monkstown do a decent curry but avoid the chicken balls the batter isnt the best.

Lets Eat In = Overpriced vomit

What food tasted bad.Its not over priced as we use 100% ingredients including 100% chicken ,unlike fast food places who use processed chicken

Tell him to keep up the good work drdre, I live in Shankill and use it semi-regularly. Sometimes it's quite slow and a bit on the expensive side but I think it's very good for what you get.

    Shredded chilli beef...mmmmmmm

That's the one thing I miss most about Deansgrange. That, and the fresh fruit and veg. from the veggie man near the bakery (that has mysteriously re-opened, having closed the weekend before I went to buy a birthday cake there...)

Get a Rickshaw. Crab claws, almost everything on the main menu... oh yum! They're fantastic if you go to sit in too, and because one of my housemates was addicted (he ordered from them twice or three times a week) they gave us free drinks all evening as the delivery guy recognised him. SO friendly!

Shouldn't this be in the Dublin forum though?

Mr Lamb in shankill aint bad, Avoid that place on the n11 beside the silver tassie... any chineser located right beside a VET already spells dead dog in your chicken curry.

Fantastic food, but you need to get new containers for delivery as the food can be a little cold sometimes.

Lets eat in: shankill = goldmine.

Its the perfect place to have a takeaway, with bray so close by. I myself live in shankill and use it about once every month or two. Whenever im up there collecting, there always seems to be a lot of people, and the phones never stop ringing.
Im sure the turnover there is over a million a year.

Keep up the good work, and on your busier nights, you may want to have more people on the phones, im sure you lose a lot of sales due to people waiting on the phone (i have moved on sometimes i have to admit).

And while i'm here i'd like to take this opportunity to say Oriental Express Chicken balls are the dogs boll1x. So big you wont be able to fit 3 in your mouth in one go.
