numbers were above 90.

didnt see a hand last night bar KK early on. had to bluff my way to about 6K b4 the break with playing only about 4 hands.

after the break the cards just got worse.

I have 5 k on the button. blinds are 200/400. I push with KJ of clubs folded around to a guy who thought for ages b4 folding AJ.

four tables left, went all in with KQ diamonds after some1 had raised to 3k blinds were 500/1k. i was down to 3,700 and with the blinds coming around so just felt it was now or nothing.

it was a good tourniie...didnt see any shocking play as has been described by others in the past.

Played this for the first time last night. I am in work normally for 8am so I can't usually play it.

Very enjoyable tourney I thought the blinds at the end should have been frozen earlier, but I suppose they had to get us out of their sometime.

I finished 6th which I was pleased with as at 30 mins after the break I was down to 1 bb.

I still have problems folding AKo preflop (i just can't bin it) which cost me 16k in chips with 3 tables to go and really cost me any chance of winning (ran into KK)

Home at 4am definately not playing that on a work night I'll have to wait until the next friday bank holiday to play it again.

Good to meet you last night, Washout. The standard of play was pretty high, some 'faces' around. Certainly our table was. I had similar problems as you saw with AK (I never push when I miss, but had a brainfart last night - I wasn't happy with my love affair with AJ either! After making FT last week, somebody sicken me by telling me the payout please for 100+ runners.

Oh, also ran into Sean Murphy last night (good to meet the man again and express my shock)

lukily took it down myself after the deck hittin me in the face with a few vital KK hands, 2 second lat table and one last table, all holding up!
Beautiful french girl came third, guy with moustache second, a very enjoyable last longer bet involving De Deraco, IonaPaul, Walko and afaik sleep prince and RmcG.
first time ever saw 11 tables in use in emporioum ( 9 tournie, 1 cash and one private tournie)

Enjoyable last longest bet for you! I want my tenner back. I went out when I cleverly pushed into an UTG raiser who'd been min-raising with any 2 broadways, showed my pocket 5s when UTG called and then realised there was another live player. Tough call for him with 99.

You got everyones cards that night. I think you had JJ-AA approximately 40% of the time.

Donal played well and deservedly took it down. Could have been different had I not suffered a bad beat. With 9 left got my AK in pre flop against AQ, and had the inevitable Q not come up on the flop (sooo knew it would!!:mad: ) I would have been up level in chips with Donal.

Then it would truly have been game on!;)

sorry lads, wasnt sure what ur user names wer, but of course know the faces! yeh was v enjoyable of course, very unlucky with the AK v AQ hand, not much u can do bout that really! but sure ther'l always be another day! #
its my last wk in the emporioum this wk so happy days on that front too - exams on the way in!
